Prof. Hermann is a professor for clinical psychology at the Justus-Liebig University in Gießen. Her main research interests are placebo and nocebo effects, pain modulation and health psychology. Further interests include the optimization of psychological pain treatment as well as defining and fostering domains of therapeutic competencies.
